My name is Ananya Chandra Jena, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. As I reflect on my academic journey, I am filled with immense gratitude for the unwavering support provided by Pushtakaar. This incredible NGO has played a pivotal role in shaping my educational path, and I am honored to share my story of how their assistance has made a profound difference in my life.
I was first Introduced to Pushtakaar in my 4th Grade. Receiving books from them on a weekly basis has been the most favourite thing I’ve looked upto, as my school did not have a library of its own. The variety and quality of the books I received from Pushtakaar have been instrumental in my career journey. These books covered a broad range of subjects, providing not just foundational knowledge but also advanced insights that were crucial for my academic and professional growth. The Story books being in English were particularly impactful. They significantly improved my proficiency in English, enhanced my ability to articulate ideas clearly, and boosted my overall confidence in both written and spoken communication. The knowledge and skills I gained from these resources laid a strong foundation, enabling me to pursue my master’s degree and equipping me with the tools necessary to excel in my chosen career path. Their kind Service was not just limited to providing us books but also enhancing our Communication skills through various fun activities.
Growing up, access to quality educational resources was a constant challenge. My family struggled to afford the necessary textbooks and study materials, which often left me feeling disadvantaged and disheartened. On this, my heart feels overjoyed reflecting my gratitude on how Shobha ma’am, the founder of Pushtakaar stepped in that critical time, offering me the resources I needed to excel in my studies.
The impact of Pushtakaar’s support goes beyond just academics. The sense of community and encouragement they foster has been instrumental in building my confidence and resilience. Knowing that there are people and organizations dedicated to supporting my education has been a source of immense motivation. It is this encouragement that has propelled me to pursue higher education and strive for excellence in my field. As I work towards completing my master’s degree, I am constantly reminded of the generosity and dedication of Pushtakaar.
